Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Whodunnit Kids ("we", "us") makes personalized, printable mystery party games. We believe the best way to protect your privacy is to collect as little as possible and keep it for as short a time as possible. This policy explains exactly what we do.
What we collect
When you create a kit, you give us only:
- The first names you enter (your birthday child and their guests)
- Your optional town or city
- Your chosen theme and the "missing item" you type in
- Your email address, so we can send you your download link
That's it. We do not ask for, or collect, accounts, passwords, addresses, dates of birth, or any sensitive personal information.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe, on their own secure systems. Your card number never touches our servers. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
How we use what you enter
The names and party details you provide are used for one purpose only: to personalize your party kit and generate your printable PDF. Your email address is used for one purpose only: to send you your download link. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing. (If we ever wanted to send you anything else, we'd ask your permission first.)
How long we keep it
Your details and your generated PDF are stored only long enough for you to download your kit. After 7 days, your information and your PDF are automatically and permanently deleted from our storage. Your download link works during those 7 days.
Children's information
Our service is intended to be purchased and used by adults (parents and guardians). The only information about children we ever receive is the first names an adult chooses to enter, which are used solely to personalize the game and are deleted within 7 days. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect any other information from, children.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how our website is used and to measure and improve our advertising. When you first visit, we ask for your choice: non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) are only set if you select "Accept all". You can reject them, and the site still works fully.
The third-party tools we may use for this include:
- Google Analytics & Google Ads (Google) — to measure website traffic and ad performance
- Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) — to measure and target our ads
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) — anonymous heatmaps and usage statistics to improve the page
These providers may set their own cookies and process limited usage data under their own privacy policies, and some advertising tools may track activity across other websites — but only if you accept advertising cookies. We never link this analytics or advertising data to the names you enter for your party kit, and your party data is still deleted within 7 days.
Because our audience involves parents and children, we keep this deliberately limited and do not use analytics to build profiles of children.
Your choices
Because we don't keep accounts and automatically delete data after 7 days, there's very little to manage. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, contact us at hello@whodunnitkids.com and we'll remove it.
